Human name: Eduard von Bock
Country's name: Republic of Estonia/Eesti Vabariik
Personality section: Anyone who is just meeting Eduard would more than likely describe him as a smart and intelligent person who seems like a bit of a "nerd". On the outside he is a quiet person who would spend their time surfing the internet or listening to Eurobeat music. Most wouldn't give him a second glance, thinking of course "He's smart but far too quiet!". These people, however, haven't cracked the personality shell.
Around family and close friends, Eduard's outer exterior makes a complete 180 degree turn. He can be very talkative and go on for a while about his hobbies (mainly blogging) and interests (dance music, pop, classical, etc). Get him riled up enough and he might just bring out his accordion. . .
Besides his personality, Eduard's history is one involving lots of peace and yes, you guessed it, music. During the late 20th century, in order to gain independence from the Soviet Union, artists used singing to inspire the people and keep their spirits high. Acts of peaceful defiance were also used to work towards independence, which in the end worked as they gained their independence August 20th 1991.
Roleplay sample: Sitting on the park bench and soaking in the sun of waning autumn--what could possibly be better than this? Of course, I had a cup of coffee next to me, and my laptop was resting on my lap. Checking my email, I felt a bit relieved that Raivis finally responded to my email. I was growing a bit worried when he hadn't answered me a few days ago, we usually email back and forth often. However, when I read the subject line I couldn't help but make a face of confusion. He had used a strange emoticon. . . '^ J ^' I didn't know what it meant but something about it seemed oddly familiar.
Without further ado, I clicked the email and began to read. Within the first few sentences, a chill began to run down my spine. "Privet, comrade! How nice it was of Raivis to let me borrow his computer for an undetermined amount of time, yes? And now I am learning you two are planning to meet up without me, I feel very hurt. But we will discuss how you will be apologizing to me briefly, won't we? With love, Ivan"
I looked at the time the message was sent--about an hour ago. I sighed and closed up my laptop, hoping there was still enough time to avoid Ivan. I noted that there was no sign of him once I entered the park, so I figured I must still be safe.
As I put my laptop into my manbag (not to be confused with a purse) and stood up, another chill rand down my spine. Odd, it didn't feel especially cold. But this shiver was more unnerving than cold, like someone was almost literally staring daggers into the back of my head whilst a sinister aura emitted from them like smoke.
Strange indeed. . .
