Theme Nights

All right, for the few of us who are involved in this AU...there have been random ideas at random times about possibly having theme nights at the club.

Feel free to throw your suggestions for a theme night in this thread. We'll compile a list and then start RPs in this thread based on the various themes. Everyone is welcome to throw a theme out there, and to discuss freely if you like/dislike a theme idea.

This thread is for:
- Suggesting theme nights for the club
- Elaborating on themes we like or want more details on
- Seeing who is interested in doing various themes

SUGGESTED THEME NIGHTS
- Cabaret/Vaudeville/Burlesque Night (1920s/30s theme.... Jazzy music, frilly dress, suits and fedoras, a regular vaudevillian affair!.... Would need to do some research here obviously, but it's a thought. ^^')

- Fantasy Night

- Leather Night (oh bby)

- International Night (each performer brings a bit of his/her homeland into their performance, etc.? Like Kiku might have Nei-chan in a kimono, and Alfred might do something incorporating Jazz/Blues music.)

- Kimonos (specifically, Alfred and Kiku in kimonos~)

- Superhero night

Hmm...I have a suggestion that might appeal to all of us in regards to the rather interesting themes we've been building up, and wonder if you two might consider it.

So, Arthur suggested an international night...and a few other things. And Alfred requested kimonos~

So, why not do an International Weekend of sorts? We could begin on Friday with something, and then just include some of these themes?

This is just an example of course (so don't feel we're locked into the days, if you guys even like them, that is)

Friday: British Punk (that would give us an excuse to wear leather~)
Saturday: Japanese (I was going to specify Kimonos here, but they could also go with a different theme over all, like a certain era of history)
Sunday: American Burlesque

If we get more people to join, we could look up more international sort of 'sexy' things and include them. If we get enough, we could get a whole week going...but maybe these to start?

A fantasy night sounds fun (you'd better specify what TYPE of fantasy, mister club owner, or you'll get sparkly vampires at your door *shot*)

Superhero night sounds awesome, Alfred! Would Alfred be Captain America, or someone else? (Just curious...no worries if you haven't thought that far XD)

I would also like to throw into the mix a ____'s night...(filling in the blank with either 'boys' or 'girls'...because that would be hella awkward for anyone who isn't sure of their sexuality...and it's more for LOLs than for actual serious play)

I also naturally suggest a steampunk theme. Alfred in an aviator uniform...*drools shamelessly*

I also suggest a semi-historical night (that needs a better name), where we can all portray a famous warrior type (whether from your nationality or not is totally up to you). So, for example, Kiku could be a samurai, Arthur a pirate, etcetc.

And because I couldn't resist (or maybe because I have odd things on my brain), if we run out of themes or we're really bored, we could always do a 'dating game' of sorts. (It's not a real date...well, it's spending the night with the highest bidder, but who knows if Brows will agree to that XD)

As far as the International Weekend goes, I like this idea~ (It also amuses me to no end that you seem to be including Arthur among the performers, Kiku. Do you really think your boss would want to get up on stage? He might play dress-up though. Think of that sexy waiter outfit of his.)

Perhaps around Halloween (AU time) there could be a Masquerade Night?

I also like the idea of the steampunk night (*secretly joins Kiku in drooling over the idea of Alfred in an Aviator's uniform*) and the fantasy night (sans sparkling vampires). And just, aah. Perhaps a poll would be of some use to choose our favorites since I forsee this list growing fairly long?


Also Lukas.... You do realize that Arthur will make all of his employees dress for the occasion.... right? *mischievous grin*

I WILL NOT WEAR TIGHT SPANDEX NO SIR! I will play a villain, so that I can wear black and do whatever the fuck I want, thank you very much~ (And why be good when you can be bad, hm~? *shot*)

Actually, for the International Weekend, I was NOT thinking of you performing, Arthur XD I was thinking more along the lines of 'Hm, if Kiku had to choose 3 different performers for each night...' and then settled on 'Kaze, Nei-chan, and then...haven't thought of the third) Also, keep in mind our audience is primarily British...so...XD

Hm...do the British actually celebrate Halloween? And do we need it to BE Halloween (AU time) to have an excuse to start a new theme in a strip joint where everyone dresses up anyway? (Not rejecting the idea, mind you, just wondering about the logic/timing of it >.>)

And no poll imho...because if we made a poll now we'd have to make it again anyway each time a new idea came up XD It's better to make a list, then just do things off of the list and tick them off as we go.
