Mutant Abilities:

Ivan has the ability to merge with someone, essentially becoming one with them ~~(If you know what I mean~ *wiggly eyebrows* *shot*)~~ Inside Ivan, the victim's fate is up to him; he can torture them by showing them horrible worlds and illusions or he can have then "live" in a pleasant place (A 5-star hotel room for example. The victim can also hear thoughts sent by Ivan to them whether he is goading or trying to calm them down.) Usually one can tell when Ivan has merged with someone because some physical characteristic of the mergee shows up somewhere ((For example's sake, let's say Ivan merged with Feliciano. After a few minutes, one piece of his hair on his left would grow longer and curl)) and on a very, VERY rare case, Ivan will be able to use a very diluted form of the victim's ability.

His weakness is that he can only merge with one person, and only for 2 hours or so (shorter for those that are fighting it.) Also, while he doesn't have to touch the person that he wants to merge with, the mergee has to be within 2 meters of Ivan (It's not like Ivan can suddenly merge with someone in Canada for example. He would have to track them down, get close, and merge.)

Where Do You Stand?: Former Brotherhood, now wanders around

Mutant/Brotherhood Code Name: It was Jailer. Now he's thrown it away and refuses to use it anymore.

Sexuality: Asexual.

Personality:
Cruel, intimidating, and overall frightening, many people wonder why Ivan wasn't admitted to an insane asylum yet. However, the truth is that the tall man doesn't really realize that his actions are very harmful to those around him. Because of his terrible past while he was a part of the Brotherhood, his mind couldn't take it and has shattered. This has caused Ivan to perceive his actions as lighter than they are. The stalking is a game of hide-and-seek. Fatal lash-outs are temper tantrums. Bullying is simply a way to get attention.

However, there is a different side to our large friend. He's a innocent creature who is always curious of things he had never seen before. His dream is to one day live in a warm field full of sunflowers where he wouldn't be judged by his terrifying power.

In a way, he is polite as well, since he asks the mergee, "Become one with me, da?" before he merges with them. Not that yes or no matters. If they say yes, then he just smiles then does the deed. If they say no, he only shakes his head sadly and says that what has to be done has to be done and does it anyway.

Background:
Ivan grew up in a wealthy Russian home with his parents and two sisters until his parents decided to move to America where living conditions (or at least the climate) were hopefully better.

At first, Ivan seemed like a normal child, a bit creepy, but normal. Until he got to his freshman year in high school that is. A senior boy loved to pick on Ivan and was (literally) pushing him around one day at lunch. For the first few times Ivan had braved it, and was thinking of doing it this time too. It didn't work out that way though. The bully had yanked on the scarf Ivan always had with him and pulled it completely off.

It was too fast for anyone to see what had happened. Ivan's temper flew up, and the bully simply....disappeared. There was a minute of silence, until everybody started screaming their head off. Not only was the freshman a freak, but he had vaporized a person! Unknown to everyone though, Ivan could feel the bully...who was inside of him, currently kicking up a fuss.

For an hour, Ivan kept the bully captive inside of him (mostly because he couldn't figure out what to do with him) and people swore that he definitely had ice blue eyes compared to his usual amethyst (Which made sense, since the bully had the same eye color.) The bully eventually popped out one period later and went off to his own class. Everybody kept away from Ivan after that, even after they knew that he wasn't a murderer. He was a mutant. He was dangerous.

A few weeks later, a guy decided to sit with him at lunch. He introduced himself as another mutant and a part of the Brotherhood. Seeing that Ivan was interested, he delved in to explain what the Brotherhood was, and its goals. Ivan agreed to come with him and disappeared from his family without a trace. There, he learned how to control and know his power more as well as being taught that it was fate that people were so afraid of him.

3 years passed and Ivan was not happy with his life anymore. The excitement of being with other mutants was starting to wear off as Ivan became stronger and the missions he was sent off to do required him to break those that he merged with. Finally, his psyche couldn't take the screams anymore and Ivan himself broke. He ran away from the Brotherhood HQ, wanting nothing more to do with the horrible stuff he was forced to see.

Now, Ivan lives his life on the run from the Brotherhood and tries to live low enough for people to believe that he was human...

Alright, let me just tell me right here and now that I'm totally in love with that power! It sounds so awesome, and it's creative too! Or is it taken from a canon X-men character? *has never read or seen X-men*

Thank you! And as far as I know, I haven't stolen the power from a canon X-man XD I had quite a journey until I thought of this power XD especially since Mattie (ice powers) and Yao (control over other's emotions) had already taken the powers I had thought of for Ivan first -W-U I did reject this one at first since I thought it was a bit Sue-ish but I decided to go with it by giving it some strict weaknesses.

It's all good, it wasn't your fault that we had the same idea about powers ^J^ Hmmm, it might be interesting to do a present day RP, since it'll be really awkward for the both of them (at least for Ivan that is XD)

((Just a note: The 'X-Men' don't really exist in this AU spin off...just because when we made this AU we couldn't decide which X-Men to base it off of. So the three 'choices' are sort of, neutral, Brotherhood, or someone who works for the state/government/local authorities (law enforcement). Just thought I'd point that out ^^' *shot*))

((Hmm... I don't know actually... I was thinking that if 'whole' Arthur gets merged, then some of his selves could split off and be safe, but it would have to leave one of them inside Ivan.... The question is which one @A@ Although perhaps the very nature of Ivan's powers would prevent them from splitting off in the first place. To PMs!! *flies off into the sunset*))
