Name: Elizaveta Héderváry. A lot of people just call her Veta though, as it's much easier to remember.
Age: 19
Year: 1st year
Appearance: Veta is well-known for her shimmering green eyes; as bright as the forest leaves are green, her gaze doesn't miss a thing, scoping out anything and everything to look at. Her hair is a rich caramel-brown and ends past her shoulders - she normally wears her hair down, but the occasional ponytail and bun creeps in whenever things get stressful in life. She's not incredibly tall, only 5' 5'', but incredibly fast. She normally likes clothing that she can wear anywhere - tanktops, the occasional graphic tee, and usually anything that looks endearingly cute but comfortable to wear. She loves wearing her shorts - almost always (unless winter and fall get in the way) wearing that and a set of Converse.
Classes/Majors: Her main goal at this point is to major in photography; she doesn't really have a preference in classes, so she usually signs up for whatever sounds interesting to her.
Extracurricular Activities: She's found herself on a track team, where she competes every other week in sprinting; she works at a restaurant a few minutes away from the academy every night till nine as a waitress; she's joined a Yaoi club recently and is loving every minute of it, using her quick photo-snapping abilities to catch the greatest Yaoi moments.
Sexuality: She doesn't have a preference anymore; hurt by boys and mocked by girls, she has learned to swallow those desires for a relationship; she is slowly coming out of her shell and is beginning to realize that she'll like anyone, despite the gender.
Personality: Veta is a very energized and optimistic person. Always seen with a smile or laugh donning her face, she enjoys not only making herself laugh, but others as well. She's very friendly as well, and incredibly loud - to the naked eye, however, she appears shy. She absolutely adores spending time with people and getting to know them. Whenever she does end up sad, she always finds a way to grit through it; most of it by playing harmonies on her violin. She can be rude and sarcastic at times, but underneath she is still a happy girl.
Background: Veta has lost contact with all her family. Being the only child, she was a miracle to her parents who, before that, had tried countless times before to have children but with no success. As Veta entered the world, her mother ended up leaving it. Raised only by her father who, stricken with grief, was an alcoholic all her years of living with him, she learned to grit through the screams and yells of a heart-broken man. Her father ended up forgetting the fact that he was dad; he would regularly leave the little 9-year old at home to do whatever she pleased while he went out to drink with friends and drown in sorrows. The only gift her father ever gave her (including birthdays, she's never received anything) was a violin - her mother's violin in fact. Veta learned to play it and immediately became attached to her new friend, nicknaming it 'Erik'; she only ever played it whenever the sadness became too much for her to bear.
At the age of 15, Veta's father died of leukemia - nobody knew the man had it until he was seen lying on his death bed. The autopsy rang true, however, and Veta was left was nobody. Sent to live with her hellish aunt, Veta survived through years of absolute torture from bratty children by putting up her own mental wall and sinking into pits of her own loneliness; and it wasn't until she was 18 that she finally managed to leave, buying her own place and immediately making it the home she never had. Now she attends World Academy, hoping not only for a better experience, but for a better life. With a smile donning her face and a sharp tongue awaiting anyone who dare piss her off, she's found herself excited and hopeful when standing at the doors of the academy.
